Meet Chef
Nino Cordivari is the passionate culinary mind behind Pop’s Steaks. A former country club executive chef with a refined culinary background, Nino’s journey to opening Pop’s Steaks was driven by his love for high-quality, flavorful food and a deep-rooted connection to the Philly food scene.
Before Pop’s Steaks, Nino brought his vision to life with the opening of Pop’s Pizzeria in Glen Mills in 2023. The success of the pizzeria, known for its incredible pies and neighborhood charm, laid the foundation for Nino’s next big step; bringing his cheesesteak dreams to Conshohocken.
Nino’s focus at Pop’s Steaks is simple — serve the highest quality cheesesteaks and comfort food made with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Never one to cut corners, he’s committed to providing customers with a premium dining experience.
Mark Pagano
Meet Mark
A South Philly native with deep community roots, Mark Pagano brings both business acumen and hometown pride to Pop’s Steaks. Before stepping into the world of cheesesteaks and hoagies, Mark built a successful career in real estate investment and construction, completing more than 100 homes throughout the Philadelphia area. This experience allowed Mark to sharpen his skills in operations, customer service, and creating spaces where people feel at home.
Driven by a lifelong love of great food and neighborhood tradition, Mark teamed up with his close friend Nino Cordivari to open Pop’s Steaks — a fresh take on the classic Philly sandwich shop. Together, they’ve combined authentic recipes, high-quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates community, friendship, and flavor.
When he’s not behind the counter or chatting with regulars, Mark can be found enjoying local sports, spending time with family, and supporting the Conshohocken area that means so much to him.
